Fall, 2010

Camp entrance, looking in from Milltown Road, the tree apparently downed by the recent storm. Photos by Jim Molloy - October 13, 2010

Looking east; 50 years ago we would have clearly seen Mitchell's (aka the Chapel) on the left, and the Red Dock near the center. The dark area in the center leads to what we knew as "The Beach."

Looking toward "The Rock" from Milltown Road.

In looking at these photos I can almost feel what it must have been like to have been there today! What an uplift it was for me to be able to think back and imagine!

I need a little help though with pictures 2 & 4. At what point of the lake were they taken? Could it have been from the shoreline at the center of the main camp?

Hey, Rick!

Okay, I've added captions! Jim also mentioned that the day was perfect; 65 degrees, very low humidity, everything clear as a bell. The timing was also perfect; 4:30 in the afternoon. Thus these amazing images taken with a pocket-Kodak digital camera. And to really appreciate the photos, visit to our Flickr site (under "Links") and go full screen via the Slide Show.
